Lightly coat the pan with olive oil or any cooking oil, wiping off excess. Gently tighten the two eye bolts until the burner is just touching the bottom of the Skottle.

After attaching the legs, install the Coleman-style single burner into the pan’s burner rack. The legs are removable and can be stored separately (bag included for both pan and legs). The Tembo Tusk Skottle comes with a frame to hold the burner and three legs to support the pan. Typically, a Coleman burner uses a disposable 16oz gas bottle for fuel with a proper adapter, a large propane bottle can be used instead. These types of burners produce approximately 10,000 BTUs of heat energy, which is more than adequate for the Skottle. The Tembo Tusk Skottle can also be used with an inexpensive Coleman-style single burner and a gas bottle, where the burner simply hangs in the frame welded to the bottom of the Skottle. You can now carry and store the Skottle Grill in one package. The bag will include straps on the outside of the bag to slot the shorter legs into.
